North Walkden FC Sponsorship

Dairy steps in to kit out footballers
A FOOTBALL team is now fully kitted out thanks to support from a dairy.
North Walkden Under 15s team needed a new kit after out-growing the old one provided by the club two years ago. But they needed sponsorship to buy a new one.
Their new kit has been provided by Portland Dairies of Walkden, who funded 16 new kits, socks, shirts and shorts.
Portland Dairies owner, Steve Tatham, paid for the kits after North Walkden Under 15s, who play at Amblecote playing fields in Little Hulton, put out an appeal to companies in the area. Steve's three sons, who are now in their 20s, all played for the team over the years so he was keen to help.
He said: "I heard that the team was struggling to get a new kit. My three boys all played for the team and I said that if I could ever give something back I would."
Manager, Robert Arnold said: "I think it is fantastic what they have done for us. We are really glad someone could help. They have outgrown their kit and it has been a struggle because it was just too small for them."
